Statement

My multidisciplinary practice explores the relationship between memory, lived experience, and the cultural narratives that shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. Working across painting, collage, textiles, and installation, I draw on organic forms, textures, patterns, language, and fragments to explore both personal and collective experience.

Working intuitively, I allow materials and process to guide each work. Layers accumulate and shift, allowing memories, associations, and ideas to surface. Familiar forms and references to place become points of departure for a more subjective exploration of identity, inherited beliefs, cultural experience, and the shifting social landscape around us.

Across mediums, I am interested in transformation and the ways meaning emerges through the process of making. Each work becomes a fragment within an evolving visual language, reflecting the complexity of identity, memory, connection, and change.
