My paintings are informed by the world around me. Initial inspiration tends to come from nature, and through the process of layering paint, I become deeply reflective of my internal world.  Shapes and colours may represent a time, space, memory, and/or perception. The pieces become a culmination of the ground beneath us, the living systems that hold us, and the human experience.
